Energy Work | Reiki

Energy work, often experienced through the practice of Reiki, is a therapeutic art that supports the body’s natural capacity for healing. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese terms rei (universal) and ki (life energy), describing the vital force that animates all living things. This tradition was formalized in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui in Japan, drawing on older Buddhist and Taoist teachings about the flow of energy through the body.

During a session, the practitioner uses light touch or hovers their hands just above the body to channel this subtle energy. Many clients experience a deep state of relaxation, warmth, or tingling sensations, while studies have shown Reiki can help reduce stress, ease pain, and encourage emotional balance.

Historically, energy-based healing practices reach back thousands of years, from Chinese concepts of qi to Indian traditions of prana flowing through the chakras. Reiki carries this lineage forward, offering a gentle yet profound way to restore harmony.

At its heart, Reiki is both poetic and practical: it invites you to surrender into stillness while also engaging the body’s measurable relaxation response. The result is often a greater sense of peace, clarity, and connection to self.

Fire Poppy

  • Andrea is both a healer of the body and a guide of the spirit. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 14 years as a cardiac nurse, she has witnessed the resilience of the human heart in its most vulnerable states. That experience ignited her passion for holistic healing—an approach that honors not only the body, but the energy and spirit within it.

Her sessions are more than massage; they are a blending of intuitive touch and Reiki energy work, creating a space where physical tension eases and inner balance is restored. Each treatment is guided by presence and compassion, weaving together her clinical knowledge with a deep trust in the body’s innate ability to heal.

Andrea holds space as both a practitioner and a witness—supporting your journey toward renewal, clarity, and peace. In her care, you are invited to release, realign, and return to your natural state of wholeness.

Home of the Hearth

  • Home Of The Hearth began as a personal study about herbs and plants and how they can play a role in the physical and spiritual healing of individuals. The new creations were gifted to friends and family to potentially aid them in their lives. The passion of herbs turned into a business providing herb infused body butters, hair oils, sugar scrubs, anointing and spiritual oils.

States of consciousness became very apparent the longer the studies of Herbs went on and how lower states of consciousness ( Alpha, Theta, and Delta ) can potentially induce a deep sense of healing for the mind and body.

The mission became clear. Home of the Hearth's goal is to provide a personalized session targeting the persons' goals and intention. Helping to facilitate self healing- an experience personal to them through a wide selection of modalities to choose from.

Massage Therapy, Reiki Energy Sessions, Sea Moss Gel, and Divination Readings came soon after.
